A wehrpass to Unteroffizier Friedrich Geishofer 5/ Kampfgeschwader 76. The pass has a non-uniform photo dated 1/3/1937. Friedrich joined the Luftwaffe in 1937 and was attached to a reconnaissance unit and later a bomber unit on the Western front .He participated in the attack against the low countries in May 1940 and later on to the Battle of Britain and the Blitz against British cities. He was awarded the EK2 and and entitled to the pilots badge but this not entered in the pass .He did not transfer to the east with the rest of the squadron but was medically unfit by May 1941 .
