A Luftwaffe Wehrpass dated 29/5/1936 and Arbeitsbuch dated 1/10/1935 plus military discharge papers for Oberfeldwebel Erich Hubner serving with KG 1 "Hindenburg" he has two decorations KVK2 with swords and the winter war medal 1941/42 . The Arbeitsbuch has him working in Hans Windhoff Berlin motorcycle manufacturer.On call up to the Luftwaffe he is working on the technical side, basically aircraft engines etc throughout the whole war. His service sees him working in Poland, France, the air war against Great Britain, Russia, and finally the defence of Germany. He his trained on various aircraft, He111 ,Ju88 ,He177.The final unit he serves with is the famous Jagdverband 44 where he works on ME26 /FW190 and serves under the famous Adolf Galland. he was captured by the US army and his POW papers are included.This is a Wehrpass who's service is with some of the most famous units in the Luftwaffe.
