Good image of Fliegerhauptmann Boelcke, the first air ace in history. Mentor of the Red Baron and blue max winner. He wrote the famous dicta boelcke which is still read and used by fighter pilots today. He was killed October 28th 1916 in an ariel collision. No rips or tears

This is an image cut from an album showing an albatros C11 recon aircraft. It was probably the winter of 1916/17 when this was taken. The photograph is still on the original album backing, and shows the crew warming up the engine Measures 11cmX 8cm

Original PostCard of Leutnaut Schleich
A good image showing Lt Schleich sitting in a captured Nieuport 17. He scored 35 victories and was known as the black knight. Most of the victories were obtained on albatros DV. He was awarded the blue max flying with Jasta 21 and 32 In the second world war he was an officer in the Luftwaffe,a commander in Norway and finally died 15th November 1947. No rips or tears

Original Sanke Card of Leutnant Klein
Good portrait photograph of Lt Klein obtained 22 victories with Jasta 4 &10 later commanding Jasta 10. In the second WW, he was the Commander of all fighters for the Luftwaffe reaching the rank of Major General. He died 18th December 1944. No rips or tears

Original Sanke Card of Leutnant Loewenhardt and Triplane
An extremely rare card showing Lt Loewenhardt posing by Fokker DR1. He destroyed 54 aircraft flying with Jasta 10. He obtained most of his victorys on Fokkers DVII. he was killed in combat on the 10th August 1918. This card has no rips or tears

Original Sanke Card of Visefeldwebel Festner
This is a rare Sanke card showing Visefeldwebel Festner. He had a total of 12 victories flying an albatros D111. He is famous for shooting down Robinson VC in his Bristol F2A at the battle of Arras. Visefeldwebel Festner was KIA on 25th April 1917. The card has no rips or tears- a rare image indeed

Original BWM and Photo to Casualty of the Somme
A very moving tribute to a 22 year old driver who was killed on the 5th October 1916. The medal is named to him- Glen William, service number 23290, who originated from Glasgow. He was killed serving with "C" Bty 94th Bde and is remembered on the Thiepval memorial on the Somme as his body was never found The medal is in good but polished condition, the card was originally framed by a loved one. I placed the medal in a presentation box

Original Fallshirmjager Photo Album (Russia 1942 -43 )
An excellent untouched paratrooper album showing training of a young member of the 1st Fallshirmjager Battalion 1. Good scenes of fighting in winter fighting in Russia including equipment, uniforms, helmets, paks. lorries. In one of the photos it shows him having shrapnel removed from his neck. A remarkable record of his history in the paras
